Third-Person Shooter RPG The First Descendant Announced
Developer and publisher NEXON has announced The First Descendent. The game is billed as a third-person co-operative action RPG shooter and is planned to release as a free-to-play title on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
The First Descendant takes place on a world that mixes sci-fi and fantasy. Players control a Descendant, one tasked with defending the Ingris continent and fight against alien invaders to help ensure the survival of humanity. The game features co-op for up to four players, with playable characters having their own skill sets, movement style, and chain actions. Players can equip their character with three guns, four secondary equipment items, and multiple sub-weapons as the take on foes, including powerful large bosses with their own gimmicks.
NEXON announced a beta will run for PC via Steam, beginning at 0:00am PDT on October 20, 2022, and running until 23:59pm PDT on October 26, 2022. Those interested in participating can sign-up now. The beta will include ten playable characters, with details about the characters to be revealed at a later date.
Dunno if I want another Outriders. Not that I didn’t like it, but I don’t know if I needed more of it in my life.
