Rune Factory 5 PC Release Announced

XSEED Games and Marvelous have announced a PC release for farming sim and action RPG hybrid Rune Factory 5. The game will release via Steam on July 13, 2022. It is available to pre-purchase now with a 15% discount on its regular $59.99 price. A Deluxe Edition is also available that includes the Rune Factory 4 Marriage Candidates Outfit Set. Additional costume DLC will be available to purchase at launch.

Rune Factory 5 is the latest title in the Bokujō Monogatari spin-off series and released for Nintendo Switch in Japan in 2021 and in North America and Europe earlier this year. Players control an amnesiac protagonist who ends up in the small nature-surrounded town of Rigbarth. They elect to join the town guard — known as Seed — to help protect the peace, spending their time adventuring with companions, growing crops on the farm, fishing, and building relationships with the townspeople.
