Hellpoint Blue Sun DLC, Next-Gen Versions Launching in July

Publisher tinyBuild and developer Cradle Games announced the Blue Sun DLC for action RPG Hellpoint. The DLC will release on July 12, 2022, alongside the game’s dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.

Blue Sun features a new story set in the Blue Sun parallel dimension that reveals the true cause of the main game’s Merge cataclysm. The DLC adds three new sprawling areas; new items, characters, and bosses; dual-wield weapons; and a new “Contract” system.

Hellpoint is a sci-fi action RPG set on a derelict space station orbiting a black hole and lists Dark Souls, Dead Space, Event Horizon, and Hellraiser as its inspirations. It was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux in 2020. with a Nintendo Switch version released in 2021.
