Mercenaries Rebirth: Call of the Wild Lynx Releasing Next Week

Publisher Circle Entertainment announced that Rideon’s Mercenaries Rebirth: Call of the Wild Lynx will release in North America and Europe on November 11, 2021. The tactical RPG, which released in Japan last month, will be available digitally on Nintendo Switch.

Mercenaries Rebirth is the sixth entry in the series and is set around the kingdom of Astras. The king’s firstborn child, Princess Kiera, has been replaced in the succession by the newborn son of the king’s concubine, Rosa. Shortly after the change in succession, the king suddenly died and now Rosa acts as a tyrannical regent. The main protagonist is Irvin, former leader of a famous mercenary group who now acts as a lone wolf but retains a strong sense of loyalty to his clients.

The game features isometric turn-based tactical combat with 3D maps where height is a factor. Every party member is granted special effects depending on which character is selected as the leader for the battle. Players are able to train their characters and earn item rewards between story missions with free battles. It also includes Normal and Easy difficulty options and four elemental summons.
