Shin Megami Tensei V Shows the World in Ruins

Atlus released a new trailer for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V. The three-minute “World in Ruins” trailer sets up the game’s premise and major gameplay elements, with players controlling a Tokyo high school student who finds himself in a different apocalyptic version of the city. Before he is killed by hostile demons, he is saved by a mysterious being who merges with him to form a Nahobino, a powerful being that is neither human nor demon.

Shin Megami Tensei V will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch in Japan on November 11, 2021, and in North America and Europe on November 12, 2021. The game will be available physically and digitally for $59.99. Those who pre-order the game at selected retailers will receive a SteelBook Edition case.
