Tales of Arise Opening Movie, Combat Gameplay Released

Bandai Namco released the opening movie for the upcoming Tales of Arise. The movie is animated by studio Ufotable and features the song “Hibana” performed by the band Kankaku Piero, with English and Japanese versions available. In addition, Bandai Namco released five mintues of Japanese combat footage for the game, with all three videos viewable below.

Tales of Arise is the newest entry in the long-running Tales series and is set on the twin planets Rena and Dahna, with Rena holding dominion over Dahna for the past 300 years. The game will be released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on September 10, 2021. A worldwide PC release will happen that same day, with the Japanese console release to come a day earlier on September 9, 2021.
