Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Announced

Square Enix has announced a new Final Fantasy spinoff game titled Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin. Developed by Team Ninja, the game is an action RPG re-imagining of the original Final Fantasy game set to release for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC in 2022. A trailer and screenshots for the game are viewable below.

Stranger of Paradise follows Jack and his companions Ash and Jed as they take on the forces of Chaos. A demo for the game will also be available on the PlayStation 5 starting on June 13, 2021, and ending on June 24, 2021. The demo will take players through the Chaos Shrine as they fight their way toward Garland (aka Chaos).
