Chernobylite Releasing in July

Developer The Farm 51 announced that its sci-fi horror RPG Chernobylite will fully release in July. The game, which has been on Steam Early Access and GOG.com Games in Development since October 2019, will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are also planned.

Ahead of the game’s release, a final Early Access patch dubbed “The Final Stage” has been released. The update includes a rewritten storyline; new English and Russian voice-overs; Simplified Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, and Spanish language support; a new soundtrack from Mikolaj Stroinski; and the first part of the game’s final level.

Chernobylite takes place in a 3D-scanned recreation of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Players control a former physicist from the power plant investigating the disappearance of their beloved. The game features a non-linear story with crafting and survival elements as players explore the area alongside a group of companions.
