NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… Gets Ten Minutes of Gameplay

Square Enix released a new ten-minute gameplay video for the upcoming NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…. The video shows protagonist Nier in the Barren Temple of the desert kingdom of Façade alongside his allies Kainé and the magical tome Grimoire Weiss. In addition, Square Enix released new videos featuring full re-arranged versions of tracks “Snow in Summer” and “Kainé”, as well as a general soundtrack sample video.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is a remaster of the Replicant version of the first NieR game. NieR was originally released in 2010 in two versions in Japan, NieR Gestalt and NieR Replicant, while North America and Europe only received the Gestalt version. Both games tell the same story, with the main character attempting to find a cure for family member Yonah. In Gestalt the character is Yonah’s father, while in Replicant the main character is her brother.
