Ys IX: Monstrum Nox PS4 Demo Released

NIS America has released a free demo for Nihon Falcom’s Ys IX: Monstrum Nox in North America and Europe. The demo is available for PlayStation 4 — also playable on PlayStation 5 — and lets players choose from one of two locations to explore, each with a pre-selected party.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox takes place in the “prison city” of Balduq, where Adol finds himself imprisoned. In prison, a mysterious woman named Aprilis turns him into a Monstrum, a being with supernatural Gifts and the power to exorcise monsters. Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will launch for PlayStation 4 in North America on February 2, 2021, with the European release following on February 5, 2021. The game will also be released for PC and Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2021.
