Four More Yakuza Titles Head to Xbox, PC

Sega announced that four more titles in the Yakuza series will be releasing on Xbox One and PC. The Yakuza Remastered CollectionYakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5 — will release on January 28, 2021, while Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will launch on March 25, 2021. The Remastered Collection titles will also be available separately, with all four games to be included as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 were all originally released exclusively for PlayStation 3. In addition to graphical enhancements, the remasters of the three games have undergone a relocalisation process and include all of the content that was cut from their previous English releases, such as Yakuza 3’s mahjong, shogi, massage parlour, and cabaret mini-games. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2016 with North America and Europe receiving the game in 2018. It is the final game with Kazuma Kiryu in the protagonist role.
