Yakuza 5 Releases for PS4 in Japan in June

The PlayStation 4 version of Yakuza 5 is set to be released in Japan on June 20, 2019. The release follows similar remasters for Yakuza 3 and Yakuza 4, ensuring that all of the games in the series are available on the console in Japan.

As of the time of writing, Yakuza 5 is the penultimate chronological entry in the series and follows five main protagonists including series regular Kazuma Kiryu. The game was originally released for PlayStation 3 in Japan in 2013, with a western release coming in 2015. No announcement has been made regarding western releases for the remasters of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, or Yakuza 5.
