Dungeon-Crawler Märchen Forest Seeing Worldwide Release Next Year

Developer Primary Orbit and publisher Clouded Leopard Entertainment are teaming up to release a revamped version of fantasy dungeon-crawler Märchen Forest on PC and consoles. Among the improvements made are overhauled visuals and all-new translations, with the game including Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and English subtitles. Märchen Forest: Mylne and the Strange Cavern is scheduled to release worldwide January 28, 2021, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

Märchen Forest: Mylne and the Forest Gift was originally released on smartphones and PC in 2018. The game stars Mylne, a young apothecary who lives with her grandfather and searches the magic forest she lives in for ingredients. Her grandfather’s request to secure some ingredients from a nearby forest is the catalyst of her adventure. Alongside the $34.99 digital and physical versions coming in 2021, a $94.99 Limited Edition will also be available which includes a sculpted Mylne figurine.
