Mobile Title Dragon Quest Tact Heading West

Square Enix announced that handheld tactical RPG Dragon Quest Tact will see a release outside of Japan in 2021. The game is a free-to-play title with in-app purchases. It was released in Japan this summer, and will be available internationally for iOS and Android devices early next year. Android users can also register for a closed beta test here.

Dragon Quest Tact takes place in the world of Orchesterra, where players must recruit and command familiar monsters from the series and pit them against foes in head-to-head, grid-based tactical battles. The game will support English, French, Traditional Chinese, and Korean text. The game is being developed by Aiming Inc., with Square Enix overseeing its planning and production.
