Night City Wire Episode 2 Shows More Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt RED posted the second episode in its “Night City Wire” series for Cyberpunk 2077. The episode is hosted once again by Hollie Bennett with interviews featuring Quest Design Coordinator Philipp Weber and Senior Gameplay Designer Paweł Kapała, and features a look at the game’s Lifepaths, weapons, and in-game band Samurai, which is led by Keanu Reeves’ character Johnny Silverhand and portrayed musically by Swedish punk rock band Refused.

Cyberpunk 2077 features three Lifepaths — Street Kid, Nomad, and Corpo. Each one of the paths gives main protagonist V a distinct background and introduction to Night City. The Street Kid path sees V having lived most of their life in Night City, giving them good knowledge of the underground. Meanwhile the Nomad path sees V being a member of a Nomad clan, a close-knit group that roams the desert outside Night City. Finally, the Corpo path has V being an important businessman of the Arasaka Corporation. The path chosen will provide additional options throughout the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to be released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia on November 19, 2020. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Cyberpunk 2077 will also be playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X respectively when those consoles launch. Additionally, a free upgrade for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be launched at a later date.
