Chroma Squad Physical Release Announced

Super Rare Games has announced it has teamed up with publisher Plug-In Digital and developer Behold Studios for a physical Nintendo Switch release of tactical RPG Chroma Squad. The edition will be available to pre-order from Super Rare Games’ website for £27 + tax from 6pm BST (1pm EDT/10am PDT) on August 13, 2020. Only 4,000 copies will be available, with a maximum of two copies per customer.

Chroma Squad is heavily inspired by tokusatsu series such as Power Rangers and Kamen Rider, and was funded through Kickstarter in 2013. The game itself was originally released for PC, Mac, and Linux through Steam in 2015, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions released by Bandai Namco in 2017 and the Nintendo Switch version released digitally in 2019 by Plug-In Digital. Chroma Squad sees a group of five stunt actors splitting from their current employer to develop their own series and features multiple story routes as well as management sim aspects as players upgrade their studio equipment.
