Dreamscaper Wakes to Early Access Date

Afterburner Studios has announced the date that its roguelite action RPG Dreamscaper will enter its Early Access phase. The Early Access version will be available via Steam starting on August 14, 2020. A full release for both PC and Nintendo Switch is planned for sometime next year. A free four-to-six-hour prologue is also available on Steam.

Dreamscaper is an action roguelite where players control Cassidy and dive into her subconscious when she dreams. Cassidy suffers from surreal nightmares and players must survive these dreams in order to keep her from meeting a dark fate. Between dreams, players can build relationships with other characters, unlock new story events, and increase Cassidy’s power. Combat includes multiple weapon types with enemies and bosses based on Cassidy’s negative emotions.
