Genshin Impact Final Closed Beta Begins Next Week

Developer and publisher miHoYo announced that its final closed beta for open-world action RPG Genshin Impact will start on July 2, 2020. The beta will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android, and includes cross-platform co-op. Registrations are available through the game’s official website.

Genshin Impact is set in the fantasy world of Teyvat. Players take on the role of a figure known as “the Traveler”, embarking on a journey to find their long-lost sibling and learn the secrets of the world. Players will be joined by a companion called Paimon and travel with a customised party of up to four characters. The game is being developed for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android and is planned for release later this year.
