Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Begins Closed Alpha

The first closed alpha test for Owlcat Games’ isometric RPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is now underway. The alpha is available to those who backed at the appropriate level during its Kickstarter campaign earlier this year and includes the first two chapters of the game’s campaign. It grants access to eight new character classes — including two prestige classes — and ten companions, and lets players begin the journey down six of the full game’s eight Mythic Paths. Those who missed the campaign can also purchase access to the alpha test directly for $15 when pre-ordering the game from Owlcat’s official website, which will go towards the campaign’s final stretch goal of adding the Hunter class and dinosaur companions and mounts to the game.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is the follow-up to Owlcat’s previous game, Pathfinder: Kingmaker. The game is being developed for PC. Set in the Pathfinder universe, Wrath of the Righteous will feature a new campaign as players are tasked with repelling an incursion of demons from the Worldwound.
