Outriders Set to Launch in 2020 Holiday Period

Square Enix announced that cooperative shooter RPG Outriders is set to launch in the 2020 holiday period. The game, which allows up to three players to join forces in drop-in and drop-out multiplayer, will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.

Outriders is being developed by People Can Fly and set in a dark sci-fi universe. Players control one of the eponymous Outriders, journeying across the hostile planet of Enoch while they search for the source of a mysterious signal. A new trailer for the game can be viewed below, while a livestream featuring director Bartek Kmita, lead writer Joshua Rubin, and host Malik Forte will be held on Square Enix’s Twitch channel at 12pm Pacific Time on Thursday, February 13, 2020.
