NIS America Demonstrates Some Langrisser II Gameplay

NIS America recently held a livestream for its upcoming release of Langrisser I & II in North America and Europe. The ninety-minute video shows off a couple of battles from Langrisser II, including associated event scenes and party setup elements, and features some insights from localisation editor Jonathon Chang.

The first Langrisser game was originally released for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 in Japan in 1991 and brought to the west under the title Warsong. Langrisser II is set several hundred years after the first game, was originally released in Japan in 1994 for the Sega Mega Drive, and later remade for the Super Famicom under the title Der Langrisser. The remakes include new graphics, voice acting, re-orchestrated music, and multiple quality-of-life improvements to the original release. Langrisser I & II will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in North America on March 10, 2020, with the European release following on March 13, 2020.
