Langrisser Remake Delayed in Japan

Developer Chara-Ani has announced the delay of Langrisser I & II in Japan. The collaborative remakes were scheduled to release on February 7, 2019, but are now slated to come out on April 18, 2019. The developers mentioned the delay was due to further enhance the quality of the games. Publisher Masaya Games also hinted at a possible demo for Langrisser I & II.

Originally released in 1991, the Langrisser I & II remakes add updated graphics and a new artist’s rendition of the characters portrayed in the game. The game is currently only announced for a Japan release and will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles.
