Azur Lane: Crosswave Screenshots Showcase More Ships

Idea Factory International has released a third set of English screenshots for Azur Lane: Crosswave, once more introducing a new set of characters appearing the game. The set features playable characters Kaga, Cleveland, Kongou, and Saratoga, as well as the support characters Atlanta and Admiral Hipper.

Kaga is a member of the Sakura Empire and sees Akagi as an older sister. She is friendly, but in contrast to Akagi’s wilder side often appears more calculating. Cleveland is an important member of the Eagle Union. She is quite open and many regard her as a tomboy. Kongou is a former member of the Royal Navy that has joined up with the Sakura Empire. Her reputation has landed her the role of the receptionist for the Join Military Exercise between the four nations, though she is also participating with her partner Yamashiro. Finally, Saratoga is Lexington’s younger sister and is trying to become an idol. She is down-to-earth but also enjoys teasing others.

Atlanta is a support character from the Eagle Union. She is the eldest of the Atlanta-class cruisers, and followed her younger sister San Diego into the Joint Military Exercise. Admiral Hipper, meanwhile, is an elite member of the Iron Blood forces. She is the elder sister to Prinz Eugen and acts like a typical tsundere.

Azur Lane: Crosswave is a naval 3D shooter RPG featuring personified battleships, who can transform between ship and human forms. The game is based off the 2017 mobile Chinese game, Azur Lane, and will be released physically and digitally for PlayStation 4 and digitally for PC via Steam in February 2020. Pre-orders for the $99.99 Limited Edition and $49.99 Standard Edition of the game are now available on Idea Factory International’s North American and European online stores.
