RPGamer Round-Up: October 27 – November 3

Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we take a quick look back at some of the articles we’ve posted throughout the week. This article is designed to help give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our less regular visitors might have missed.

 

 


Major News

The opening presentation for BlizzCon featured some new announcements. The big ones for RPGamers are Diablo IV and World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

Nioh 2 is currently in the middle of ten-day beta. Just ahead of the beta’s launch, we received a date for the game’s full release.

The Iceborne expansion for Monster Hunter: World now has a PC release date. PC gamers will be able to join their fellow console-based hunters in Hoarfrost Reach in January.

Fatbot Games is giving its steampunk dungeon-crawler Vaporum a prequel. Vaporum: Lockdown is expected to launch early next year.

Sega held a Japanese livestream today for Yakuza: Like a Dragon. The hour-long presentation includes some gameplay footage showing the game’s new combat, job system, and play spots.

Official PC modding tools are now available for Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The tools will let users add new items, replace assets, and create brand new quests for the game.

Urban fantasy detective noir RPG Disco Elysium released for PC just a few weeks ago. Developer ZA/UM is now turning its attention to creating a console version of the game.
