Morgana Gives Final Report on Persona 5 Royal
Atlus released the sixth and final video in its Morgana’s Report series detailing the additions included in Persona 5 Royal. The newest, ten-minute video features the new My Palace feature and shows some of the DLC that will be available.
My Palace is a customisable area in the Metaverse. Players can place items and change its decorations by spending P Medals, which are obtained by reaching certain achievements in various parts of the game. When new items are placed, versions of the main character’s confidants can appear and let players listen in on special conversations. My Palace can also be used to view animations, look at special illustrations, and listen to music from the game.
Atlus previously revealed that players who have already purchased costume DLC for Persona 5 will be able to add them to Persona 5 Royal for a nominal fee of ¥10 (around $0.10). New DLC will also be available, led by challenge battles against the protagonists of both Persona 3 and Persona 4. Other options will include costumes from other Atlus releases.
Persona 5 Royal is set to be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 on October 31, 2019, before coming to North America and Europe in spring 2020. The release adds a new playable character, Kasumi, and will continue the game into the third semester of the school year in Japan, which runs from January to April. It will also add new locations, new events, new combat strategies, and other features.
