Minecraft Dungeons Gets Opening Cinematic

Mojang has released the opening cinematic for the upcoming Minecraft Dungeons. The video provides the setup for the game, where an outcast Illager discovers an object of great power that endows him with evil powers. Seeking revenge on those who once scorned him, he raises an army to wreak havoc across the Overworld. It will be up to the players to stop him.

Minecraft Dungeons is an isometric action RPG take on Minecraft, where up to four players traverse a Minecraft-styled world while leveling up, crafting and finding new gear, and summoning allies. The game is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass in spring 2020.
