Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind DLC Gets TGS Trailer

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts IIIs Re Mind DLC ahead of this week’s Tokyo Game Show. The trailer did not reveal any exact details on the DLC’s premise or connection to the game, but Square Enix stated that it would include “travel to a familiar realm”, as well as new bosses and new battles where players can switch characters. A free update launched with the DLC will also let players obtain new Keyblades. Re Mind will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One some time this winter.

Kingdom Hearts III was released on January 29, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is first officially-numbered title in the series since 2005’s Kingdom Hearts II, though a number of other titles set between the two games were released in the intervening period. Square Enix has released versions of the previous games in the series in three collections — Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 Remix, and Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue.
