Horror RPG Omori Coming to Consoles

Publisher Playism and developer Omocat announced at TGS that horror RPG Omori will be coming to Nintendo Switch and likely other consoles. The game is currently planned to be released first in English for PC and Mac towards the end of 2019, with a Japanese version to be released in spring 2020. The release windows for the console versions is not yet confirmed.

Omori was initially crowdfunded through Kickstarter in 2014. The game puts players in the role of a character named Omori, who has been living in a place called White Space for as long as they can recall. The place is bright white, seemingly without any walls and with a black blub hanging from an apparent ceiling, while Omori simply has a blanket, a laptop, a cat, a sketchbook, and a tissue box, though considers that to be everything they need. Sometimes Omori is invited to visit their neighbours, and also occasionally remembers that they had a friend in the past.
