Omori Hitting Consoles This Week

Developer Omocat announced that horror RPG Omori will release for consoles on June 17, 2022. The game will be available digitally on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Physical Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 copies are available to pre-order through Omocat and selected retailers, priced at $34.99, and set to ship in early July.

Omori originally released for PC in December 2020. The game puts players in the role of a character named Omori, who has been living in a place called White Space for as long as they can recall. The place is bright white, seemingly without any walls and with a black bulb hanging from an apparent ceiling, while Omori simply has a blanket, a laptop, a cat, a sketchbook, and a tissue box, though considers that to be everything they need. Sometimes Omori is invited to visit their neighbours, and also occasionally remembers that they had a friend in the past.
