Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls PC Release Pushed to 2020

XSEED Games has announced another delay for its planned PC release of Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls. The PC version of the game, originally planned for release in May 2019, will not be released until early 2020. XSEED Games provided the following statement:

Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen IP licensing issue previously mentioned, Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls will not be available to launch on PC this year. Discussions with the licensor have concluded that this title cannot launch until early next year.

We too are eager to get this game out, and appreciate out fans’ patience with this delay. We look forward to sharing more specifics as soon as we can.

Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls was originally released in Japan for PlayStation 3 in 2009 and the first title to use the Wizardry name since 2001’s Wizardry 8 and Wizardry: Tales of the Forsaken Land. XSEED Games released the PlayStation 3 version in North America and Europe in 2011, with the game receiving an iOS version worldwide in 2011 and a PlayStation Vita version in Japan in 2015.
