Shores Unknown Set to Release Next Year
Shores Unknown is a gridless tactical RPG from publisher Hitcents and developer Vallynne set to release in early 2020. The game, which has been confirmed for PC and Nintendo Switch, takes place in a land ruled harshly by the crown which lies between a hostile empire to the south and a fog-covered sea called the Murk to the north, from which no ship has ever returned.
Players control the newly-promoted leader of a mercenary company now marked as enemies of the state following a mission gone wrong. The company is forced to head into the Murk, exploring new lands, finding allies, and engaging in battles. The game features a low-poly graphical style and includes party customisation and player-driven character advancement.
