Strategy RPG Dreamsend: Wintersong Announced
Solo developer Anthony Nguyen, aka Dreamsend Games, has announced fantasy steampunk strategy RPG Dreamsend: Wintersong. The game is in development for PC and Nintendo Switch, and is currently planned to release in late 2027-early 2028. It is available to wishlist now on Steam.
Dreamsend: Wintersong follows the Doves, a mercenary group based in the outskirts of Landamere City, on the continent of Veichne. It ends up embroiled in a conflict with a dangerous organisation called the Violas, which is spreading its influence over the continent. The game features sixteen story chapters.
Combat allows players to use multiple abilities per turn, with boss fights featuring multiple phases and battles involving dynamic events, stage hazards, destructible obstacles, weather effects, and more. Players can unlock fifteen party members, each of whom possesses three facets, special perks that evolve through the game and impact their playstyle. In addition to combat, players can explore their headquarters and local areas. Players can also spend time growing character bonds, completing side missions, uncovering secrets, and more.
