Commander Lilith Gears Players Up for Borderlands 3

2K Games and Gearbox Software provided a new trailer for Borderlands 3 during the Xbox E3 Briefing. The two-minute video, viewable below, is introduced by the character Commander Lilith and shows the four playable characters Moze, the Gunner; FL4K, the Beastmaster; Zane Flynt, the Operative; and Amara, the Siren.

The companies also announced Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary, a new piece of DLC for Borderlands 2, which is available now. The DLC is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and is free for owners of Borderlands 2 on PC or Borderlands: The Handsome Collection until July 8, 2019. The DLC sets up the events of the third game, with players joining up with Commander Lilith as Sanctuary goes under siege, the Vault Map is stolen, and a toxic gas poisons Pandora.

Borderlands 3 marks the return of the first-person RPG franchise following 2014’s Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. The game will be released on September 13, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with the PC version available exclusively on the Epic Games Store for six months.
