Astral Chain Climbs into the Nintendo Treehouse

PlatinumGames arrived at the Nintendo Treehouse this E3 with an extended look at the upcoming Astral Chain. The demo begins with character creation before moving on to the game’s exploration, investigative, and combat elements. All of the content shown comes from early in the game. Nintendo also released a new trailer and new screenshots for the game, viewable below.

Set in a world under siege from interdimensional invaders known as chimera, Astral Chain puts players in control of a rookie cop tasked with finding and stopping the invaders. Assisting the police are powerful weapons called Legions, which fight alongside players and enable unique playstyles and combos. The game is set to release on the Nintendo Switch on August 30, 2019.
