Vambrace: Cold Soul Gets Story Trailer

Headup Games has released a new story-focused trailer for the upcoming fantasy roguelike RPG Vambrace: Cold Soul. The game, developed by Devespresso Games, is set in the city of Icenaire, which has been cursed to suffer an eternal winter by the King of Shades while he assembles an army of undead. Players control Evelia Lyric, bearer of the Aetherbrace and the only human capable of entering the cursed city.

To fight back against the King of Shades, players select party members to lend their strengths to expeditions filled with traps and encounters. Party members can be recruited across five races and ten character classes, with crafting, decision making, and strategic battles listed among the game’s key features.

Vambrace: Cold Soul is set to be released for PC, Mac, and Linux on May 28, 2019. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions are planned for Q3 2019.
