Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption Getting New Content, Steam Release in February

Another Indie and Dark Star Games have announced that boss-battler Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption will be released on Steam on February 19, 2019. The Steam release will join the currently available Discord, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions, which are priced at $18.99.

On the same day as the Steam release, all of the game’s versions will receive a free update adding new game modes and a new boss. The three new challenge modes are available as part of New Game+. The Trial of Speed gives players extra swiftness at the cost of losing invulnerability on dodge rolls, the Trial of Consequence makes death permanent, and the Trial of the Sinner combines both the Trial of Speed and Trial of Consequence. Meanwhile, the new boss is called Cowardly Modic and is a giant, armoured chicken. Defeating it will unlock two new weapon sets: twin swords and a sword and shield combo.

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption puts players in the role of the warrior Adam as he battles against seven bosses who embody his sins. Before battling each boss, Adam must sacrifice part of his power, such as lowering his health bar or making his shield vulnerable to breaking.
