The Caligula Effect: Overdose Set for March

NIS America has announced western release dates for The Caligula Effect: Overdose. The game will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in North America on March 12, 2019, with a European release following on March 15, 2019. The release date announcement comes with a new trailer that shows the game’s combat system, where players can queue up actions that play out simultaneously.

The Caligula Effect: Overdose is an enhanced remake of PlayStation Vita title The Caligula Effect, including a female protagonist, various new characters, and revamped visuals. The game sees players trapped inside a virtual school called Mobius created by a virtual idol named μ (Mu), where they join up with like-minded individuals trying to escape back to reality in the Go-Home Club and fight against μ’s enforcers, the Ostinato Musicians.
