Final Fantasy XV’s Final Fantasy XIV Collaboration Quest, Comrades Standalone Version Available Now

Final Fantasy XV‘s collaboration event with MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV is now available. The event adds in a new quest to Final Fantasy XV titled “Adventurer from Another World”. The quest sees Noctis team up with a Miqo’te, Y’jhimei, in Perpetouss Keep and ends with a battle against the primal Garuda. After completing the quest, players may return to face a more difficult version of the Garuda battle. Completing the quest will receive Final Fantasy XIV costumes for Noctis, Ignis, Gladiolus, and Prompto, with new Garuda-themed weapons also available to unlock.

Also now available is the standalone PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of online multiplayer expansion Final Fantasy XV: Comrades. The standalone version is priced at $9.99/£7.99/€9.99, with those who own the DLC version able to download the standalone version for free. A new update is also available for Comrades that adds ten new powerful bosses.

Final Fantasy XV is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with a Pocket Edition available on iOS, Android, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Various pieces of DLC have been released for the game, however, Square Enix recently announced that three of its planned four expansions set for 2019 have been cancelled, with only Episode Ardyn remaining, which is set to be released in March 2019.
