Kadokawa Games Reveals RPG Maker MV Japanese Date, Additional Details

Kadokawa Games has announced that the console version of RPG Maker MV will be released in Japan on November 15, 2018, under the title RPG Maker MV Trinity. The development suite will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, with NIS America releasing it in North America and Europe in 2019 for those same platforms.

The console version of RPG Maker MV will include double the amount of available materials to use compared to its original PC release. For the first time in the series, it will also include character voices and music with vocals. Games created with RPG Maker MV can be uploaded and shared online, playable for free by all those who download the RPG Maker MV Player app (also known as RPG Maker MV Trinity Free Trial Version) with no region restrictions. Games created on the Switch and Xbox One versions can also be shared between each other, though games created on other platforms can only be played on that platform.
