Shining Resonance Refrain Demo Coming Next Week

Shining Resonance Refrain is one of the titles that Atlus and Sega are showing off in a combined booth at next week’s E3 in Los Angeles, but attendees won’t be the only ones able to sample the game with a demo set to be released on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. The demo is confirmed for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, though it is not yet confirmed if there will a PC demo available. It is also not confirmed what content the demo will include.

Shining Resonance Refrain is an enhanced port of the 2014 Japan-only PlayStation 3 title Shining Resonance. The Refrain version includes all the DLC of the original release as well as two new playable characters who join in a what-if scenario geared towards players who have already played through the game. More details about the game — which is due to be released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on July 11, 2018 — can be found at its official website.

  1. I’m eagerly awaiting this demo. Been waiting for another Shining game to hit the west for a long time, and this one hits around my birthday. I’m hoping the demo makes me want more.
