Persona Dances West

Atlus has announced that the spin-off rhythm games for Persona 3 and Persona 5 will be released in North America and Europe in early 2019. The games — titled Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight in the west — will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The PlayStation Vita release is confirmed to be digital-only follow Sony’s decision to discontinue production of Vita cartridges.

Dancing in Moonlight and Dancing in Starlight see the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES) and the Phantom Thieves respectively whisked off to Club Velvet, where they are met by the residents of the Velvet Room and forced to perform at a mysterious dance party. Each game features 25 unlockable tracks, including all new remixes from various artists, plus various costumes as well as social scenes and events between characters. The western release will feature both English and Japanese voice overs.

I kinda dont care. I hate when they make spinoffs. I really wish they would just focus everything on a persona 6 or just give persona 5 new characters and story and i would not even care. It can be exactly the same in every aspect and i would be happy until they actually focus on a new one

Well the thing about these “spin offs” is all the spin offs for Persona are actually considered canon.

Pretty sure Atlus already confirmed that these 2 games aren’t really canon, since there is no “story mode” It’s just dancing events with character interactions.

Waiting more than 7+ months for 2 games without much text seems kinda crazy to me, I don’t think Atlus US has a lot going on for the rest of the year unless Sega US has them working on something. Glad I decided to import the vita versions.

NO persona spin offs were even good in my opinion. Just people buy them so it makes them money when they should use the development on the next persona so i dont have to wait til im in my late 40;s for persona 6
