Disgaea Remake Hits Japan in July

Nippon Ichi Software has announced that a remake for Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, the first title in the tactical RPG series, will be released in Japan this year. The remake, dubbed Disgaea Refine, will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on July 26, 2018.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness was originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2003, and has been ported to PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and PC. The game follows the demon Laharl as he seeks to become a great Overlord with the assistance of his vassals. There is currently no news on whether the new remake includes any additional content or new features.
