Arc System Works Announces Wizard’s Symphony

Japanese publisher and developer Arc System Works has announced Wizard’s Symphony. The new dungeon-crawling RPG is being developed for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch and is planned for release in Japan in 2018. No announcement has been made regarding a western release.

Wizard’s Symphony is derived from the developer’s Wizard’s Harmony series, which featured three titles released in Japan in the late 1990s. The first two games were released for the original PlayStation and Sega Saturn (the second released on PC), with the third being PlayStation-only. Wizard’s Symphony‘s teaser website is now live, at the time of writing just showing an image of the main three characters (designed by the same artist who worked on the Wizard’s Harmony series), with more details on the game expected later this month.
