Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Heading to PS5 in May
Merge Games has announced that Prideful Sloth’s Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is heading to PlayStation 5. The PlayStation 5 Enhanced Edition will launch in May 2021, with physical editions available through Merge Games’ Signature Edition store. It will be available in a £29.99 standard edition and a £39.99 Signature Edition that includes:
- Physical copy of Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Enhanced Edition on PlayStation 5
- Signed numbered art print
- Yonder and Groffle enamel pins
- Enamel cat keychain.
- Original companion art book
The Enhanced Edition will include DualSense controller haptic and speaker support, 4K resolution and 60 fps support, and additional player character accessories. In addition, Merge Games announced a reprint of the game’s Nintendo Switch physical editions, also available to order through the Signature Edition store.
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles was originally released for PC and PlayStation 4 in 2017 before launching on Nintendo Switch in 2018 and Xbox One in 2019. The game takes place on an island known as Gemea, which is slowly being consumed by a dark power known as the Murk. Players set out on a quest to save the island, joining forces with creatures named Sprites that are able to disperse the Murk.
