Ys VIII Hits Japanese Switches in June

Nihon Falcom’s Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana has a release date for Nintendo Switch in Japan. The game will be released for the console in the country on June 28, 2018. The Switch version is also planned for release in North America and Europe, currently with a summer 2018 release period.

The latest title in Nihon Falcom’s long-running action RPG series, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana was initially released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2017, with an updated localisation released via patch in January 2018. A PC release is also planned but has suffered various delays, with western publisher NIS America last stating that it hopes to release the PC version in April 2018.
