Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Predicts Eivor’s Fate in New Trailer

A new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla released by Ubisoft showcases more of its protagonist, the Viking raider Eivor. Driven out of Norway due to violent conflicts and scarcity of resources, Eivor, who can be either male or female, makes their way to England in an attempt to begin anew. But the Dark Ages are no kinder here, and in order to save their clan, Eivor must survive the many hardships awaiting them here.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is set during the Viking Age in the ninth century CE. The game features an open world complete with sailing as players lead raids on England. Players will be able to interact with political factions and build and upgrade their home settlement. The game is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC via the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store on November 17, 2020. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X releases are planned to launch alongside their respective consoles. Additionally, a seven-song EP taken from the official soundtrack featuring original compositions from Jesper Kyd, Sarah Schachner, and Einar Selvik is now available to listen to on Spotify or purchase on iTunes.
