Top-Down Action RPG Aftergods Announced
Tribes of Midgard developer Norsfell has announced its latest title, Aftergods. The game is a top-down action RPG featuring survival crafting, boss battles, and co-op. It is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and is available to wishlist on Steam.
Aftergods puts players in the role of Godborn, unlikely survivors of Ragnarök from the Greek, Egyptian, Norse, or unknown pantheons. They are tasked with restoring the shattered Seeds of the World Tree and rebalancing a collapsed cosmos across an open world.
Players will be able to use their godly powers to aid with survival and building — such as using a storm to harvest a forest or conjuring pre-built temples — as well as transform into mythical creatures to explore the world. Players will also be able to rescue survivors and form a new pantheon, with each survivor providing specialties to help with building, crafting, harvesting, storage, and more.
