Tribes of Midgard Update, Xbox and Switch Releases Set for August

Gearbox Publishing and Norsfell announced that the newest content update for Tribes of Midgard will release on August 16, 2022. “Season 3: Inferno Saga” will add a new Saga Quest and Saga Boss, the Volcanic Spire Biome, a spear weapon, fishing, and more. It will also feature the new Survival 2.0 revamped game mode. In addition, the game will launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on the same date.

Tribes of Midgard is a co-op survival action RPG set in a procedurally generated world and released for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in 2021. Players can play solo or join a tribe of up to 10 players. The game’s Saga Mode sees players build and craft their way to a showdown against world bosses before the arrival of Fimbulwinter, while its Survival Mode sees players trying to defend their village from a flow of enemies that get stronger the longer they survive.
