Old-School RPG Lair of the Leviathan Announced

Publisher Deck13 announced it is partnering with for the release of solo developers Nostalgic Realms and Whiskeybarrel Studios’s old-school turn-based RPG Lair of the Leviathan. The game is billed as being directly inspired by Ultima, Pools of Radiance, and early Baldur’s Gate titles. It is in development for PC and consoles, and can be wishlisted on Steam and GOG.

Lair of the Leviathan is set in the western frontier of a fantasy empire and sees players creating a group of adventurers ready to explore its open world. Players can freely follow its main story or engage in numerous side quests. It features strategic turn-based combat, as well as a pixel-art paper-doll avatar system that mirrors the items players equip.
