Edge of Memories Delayed to December
NACON announced that it has delayed the release of Midgar Studio’s action RPG Edge of Memories. Previously planned to release next month, the game will now launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on December 3, 2026. The delay is stated to be to move into a less busy period for other releases, coming with the announcement that an updated version of its recent limited-time demo will be made available on Steam in early November.
Edge of Memories takes place on the continent of Avaris, on the other side of the world to the setting of the developer’s previous title, Edge of Eternity. After being initially spared from the effects of the Corrosion plague, the nomadic people of Avaris now stand on the brink of extinction. The game follows Elina, a Soul Whisperer, who battles to stop the Corrosion and, after a mysterious encounter, awakens the ability to control the Corrosion within her own body, which may be the key to ending it. Its release comes despite the liquidation of the studio ordered by French courts in July.
